Why did I decide to become a Cognitive Hypnotherapist?

I trained as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist after seeing the life changing transformation a Quest trained therapist made with a close young family member that was living with acute OCD.  He had spent almost a year in a specialist London hospital but was discharged home as they were unable to make any changes in his condition.

His OCD took a huge toll, not only on him but his mother and our extended family.  As anyone that has experienced OCD either first hand or as a family member you will understand that it is one of the most debilitating conditions to live with.

While looking for support my daughter, purely by chance, got in touch with a Quest trained therapist.  After four sessions the OCD was gone completely.  There have been no regressions and he now lives a full and happy life.

Where did I train?

Because I wanted to ensure that I had the best possible training to support my clients, I studied with the Quest Institute which is based at Regents University in London. The Quest Institute is considered one of the premier schools for hypnotherapy in the country and I am also  a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming.

The HPD Diploma course provides intensive training over eleven months with hands on practice as well as written examinations, including case studies. Quest is an internationally renowned school with an ongoing research programme into its effectiveness with Anxiety and Depression.
